Commercial General Liability Insurance – Acts of Vengeance Coverage

Commercial General Liability Insurance is a very common policy for businesses in the USA to have in place. Unfortunately, in this day and age there are acts of vengeance and revenge that take place in neighborhoods and our businesses on a daily basis.

As a business owner knowing whether or not you have coverage for these types of acts of negligence in order in which can be important to the financial health of your company. You do not want to be caught self assuring us loss without your knowledge.

Misuse of the legal system: Every night on cable TV we can see the multitude of frivolous lawsuits that are being filed on a daily basis both personally and in business. Since this has become commonplace in our society the small business owner needs to be keenly aware whether they have insurance protection from these acts of vengeance and/or revenge.

Normally because our legal system involves mass amounts of attorneys, the attorneys are sharp enough to include in their lawsuits (even though it is a frivolous lawsuit) key words or phrases that typically will trigger coverage under the standard commercial general liability insurance. Sometimes you might receive in the lawsuit is frivolous for damages will only occur if the lawsuit arises from a covered peril.

So, the lesson to be learned is whether the lawsuit is legitimate or frivolous the only way the commercial general liability insurance will respond is if there is coverage for the damage and/or loss that is named in the lawsuit.
